The commission approved administrative items including minutes from Oct. 13 and adopted the 2026 land-use submittal-deadline calendar after a motion and voice vote.
Staff provided several project updates: Keepers has broken ground on a 42-unit apartment project on the east side of town; staff said they plan to apply for a Transportation Alternatives (TA) grant to target a trail connection from Rivers Bend Park to college trails; staff described a regional "Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities" conference planned for September with breakout sessions in downtown venues and guest-shuttle service to off-site locations; and staff said a preliminary plat and rezoning application for a monastery campus parcel is expected next month.
Commissioners asked staff to share conference information and to monitor the upcoming monastery application. The meeting recording stopped after brief closing remarks.
