The presenter said Granite offered the lowest monthly recurring cost — $527.92 — while maintaining the district’s capacity for 100 concurrent calls and that it had successfully supported a recent transition from analog to digital lines.
Board members moved and seconded acceptance of the committee’s recommendation. The chair called the vote and the motion passed after 'aye' votes were recorded on the floor.
District staff said the project is intended to be completed over the summer to ensure a smooth transition for the next school year and that contract execution is pending review and guidance from legal counsel. A presenter said the district’s current monthly bill is approximately $3,308.67; the proposed monthly cost with Granite estimates substantial recurring savings.
