At its July 23 meeting the Beaumont Unified Board honored four summer school graduates and introduced two new district management appointees.
Assistant Principal Darren Lance opened the special recognition, thanked district leadership and invited Superintendent Kakeesh and the board to certify the summer graduates. Superintendent Kakeesh certified the students, and diplomas were presented to Draven Moreno, Angel Palafox, Carlos Sepulveda and Nicholas Torres.
Later in the meeting the board introduced Adrian Kallwaitis, appointed as Field Supervisor for Child Nutrition Services. Kallwaitis spoke about two decades of experience in nutrition services and said he looks forward to supporting the district’s child nutrition program.
The board also introduced Richard Rosano as the district’s new Student Services Coordinator. Rosano thanked the board and said he looks forward to serving the Beaumont community; he noted prior experience as a middle‑school principal and roles in mental health services.
All personnel and appointment items were brought through the human resources section and approved as part of the agenda.
