Shiawassee County commissioners voted July 16 to approve a Brownfield Plan for the Lennon Road Redevelopment under the Michigan Brownfield Redevelopment Financing Act (Act 381), authorize a Michigan Community Development Block Grant application for the Creek Pointe Project and enter a participation agreement in the Sandoz portion of the national opioid settlement.
The board approved the Lennon Road Brownfield Plan (Resolution #25-06-08) after the County’s Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and the Village of Lennon and Venice Township filed resolutions of concurrence and understanding.
