At tonight’s meeting the board took several routine and ceremonial actions.
The board unanimously adopted Resolution No. 48 recognizing Feb. 28, 2026 as World Rare Disease Day after a presentation by trustee Singh and a staff summary of goals to raise student awareness of rare diseases.
The board also unanimously adopted Resolution No. 47 recognizing National School Counseling Week after district head counselor Nicole Brown read the resolution and Trustee Baldwin offered remarks thanking counselors for their work.
With no public blue cards for comment, the board approved Consent Agenda items 1–9 by motion and vote. The board also approved staff recommendations on student expulsions and subsequent readmission requests after confirming no one wished to address the board regarding those closed-session items.
Photo opportunities and recognitions (honor roll schools, CIF athletic champions) were acknowledged earlier in the meeting.
