Heard County adopts ADA plan for transit and schedules hearing on subdivision ordinance amendments
Summary
The Board unanimously adopted the ADA Plan for Heard County Transit and authorized the chairman to sign it; the Board also voted to hold a public hearing Nov. 19 on proposed text amendments to the Subdivision Ordinance.
On Oct. 15 the Heard County Board of Commissioners unanimously adopted the county’s ADA Plan for Heard County Transit and authorized Chairman Lee Boone to sign the plan.
Commissioner James Perry moved for adoption, with Commissioner Iris Harris seconding. The board also voted unanimously to move forward with a public hearing on proposed text amendments to the county Subdivision Ordinance at the Nov. 19 regular meeting, a motion offered by Commissioner Iris Harris and seconded by Commissioner James Perry.
The meeting also included routine business: the board unanimously approved the minutes from the Sept. 17 regular meeting and adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
