The Aliso Viejo City Council recognized Webb's Grama Works as the Business of the Month and presented a plaque to the owners, who described the restaurant and distillerys local roots and operations.
A representative for the business described the enterprise as a distillery and restaurant with scratch-made food and a variety of spirits and beers on tap. Jeremy, who accepted the recognition, thanked the community: "We are just absolutely thrilled ... the community embraced us," he said, noting local patronage and the roughly 80 jobs the business has provided.
Julie Colombo, a resident who spoke during public comment after Webb's representatives left the dais, said staff at Webb's went out of their way on New Year's Eve to locate and return a lost personal necklace, a gesture she called evidence of the businesss integrity and customer service.
Councilmembers praised Webb's role in the local economy and presented an official plaque from the city.
