Castle Rock youth commissioners present Rising Star scholarship and recent activities to council

Treasurer Jackson Young highlighted communications work, a festival effort to raise awareness, and the Rising Star Scholarship, which awards $1,000 to Castle Rock seniors who demonstrate community involvement and character. Applications open this week and remain available through March 31; the council will see recipients at the May 5 meeting.
Councilmembers praised the commission’s work and encouraged continued engagement.
