Council approves 2026 pavement, slurry and bridge maintenance contracts under consent calendar

"All of our service contracts are coming in under budget," Tyler said, noting staff recommends allowing the town manager and finance director to reallocate budgeted funds among these contracts if savings permit additional needed work.
Council asked about deferred maintenance, vendor performance guarantees and coordination with CDOT inspections for bridge work; Tyler said the town vets bidders, reviews references, and had procedures to avoid selecting contractors without adequate prior performance. The council then approved the consent calendar resolutions and associated construction contracts by unanimous roll call.
