She highlighted recent recognitions, including a Schools to Watch award received by Royal Oaks STEAM Academy, and noted that enrollment season is underway with outreach (mailers and banners) and opportunities for families to schedule school tours.
Medrano told the council she looks forward to strengthening the partnership between the city and Duarte Unified to create opportunities for students and support the community. The council thanked her for attending and welcomed continued collaboration at city events.
