OJUSD midyear LCAP shows gains in graduation, A–G and CTE completion rates

District staff presented the midyear Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) report for 2025–26, outlining goals and measurable gains.
Staff said more students met or exceeded standards in ELA, math and science on the 2025 CAST than in the prior year. The college- and career-readiness indicator rose 4.4 percentage points to about 41% prepared; districtwide A–G completion rose by 9.4 percentage points; CTE-pathway completion increased about 5 percentage points to 37.3%; TK enrollment grew by roughly 50 students; and the percentage of long-term English learners decreased by about 2 percentage points from 2024 to 2025.
Staff also reported that Oakdale High School’s graduation rate rose to 97% and that graduation for students with disabilities increased to 84.7%, a 7.5-point gain. Staff said all sites rated 'good' or 'exemplary' on the facilities-inspection tool and that student-support systems for mental and behavioral health remain in place across sites.
Trustees did not take action on the midyear report; it will be included in packet materials for future board consideration as part of the annual LCAP process.
