The board approved an initial contract with Pioneer Plumbing to purchase and install the above-locker-room unit and the elementary-kitchen heater (initial amount presented as $15,270) and authorized staff to proceed with the additional units if surplus funds materialize.
Board members discussed warranty implications, lead times and sequencing so the new boilers and warranties would not be compromised. Staff emphasized purchases would not be executed unless the surplus revenue is confirmed.
