The Rancho Santa Margarita City Council unanimously approved the mayor's proposed appointments to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) public services grants advisory committee, appointing six resident members and a planning commission representative to two-year terms.
Miss Diaz presented the recommended slate and explained that the committee must include a minimum of five and a maximum of eleven residents; resident appointments serve two-year terms beginning January of even-numbered years. Staff told the council that two committee members had died since the last appointments and another member had resigned, and that the remaining members expressed interest in reappointment.
The appointments announced by staff were: Michael Daly; Jason Garth Offner; Jacqueline Giampa; April Josephson; Lisa Matrow; and Stacy Czar, with Blaine Nelson appointed as the planning commission representative for the committee. (Spellings are transcribed from the staff presentation and may be verified in the official appointment roster.)
The presiding officer thanked the volunteers for their service; the council moved, seconded and approved the appointments unanimously. The terms were noted as effective January 2026 through December 2027.
