Commission schedules May budget hearings and a joint meeting with the education board

A commissioner emphasized the importance of publishing deadlines and meeting dates so the county could meet statutory publication requirements for a June commission approval cycle. The scheduled dates were approved by voice vote.

Staff and commissioners agreed to coordinate publication timing, appeals handling and an updated schedule to ensure the county’s budget process remains on track for June action.
