The board noted that county agencies and nonprofit partners will display pinwheels to represent the 1,781 calls to Job & Family Services regarding child abuse and neglect and encouraged the public to post photos wearing blue to participating agencies' Facebook pages in support of the 'Pinwheels for Prevention' campaign.
Commissioner Mitch Pace moved the proclamation, Commissioner Greg Ress seconded and the board passed it unanimously.
