During its April 6 session the Tuscarawas County Board of Commissioners approved personnel actions across county departments.
The board promoted Ben Diosi from Utility Worker II to Wastewater Operator I at the Tuscarawas County Metropolitan Sewer District effective April 6. Commissioners also approved several Job & Family Services hires effective April 20: Allison Fellers as an Eligibility Referral Aide at $15.61 per hour, and Ashley Fair, Caterina Gangale and Stephanie Haney as Eligibility Referral Specialist 2 at $18.20 per hour. Veronica Spidell, director of Tuscarawas County Job & Family Services, presented the hires and accompanying payroll documentation.
The board accepted a $200 donation from Carl and Judy Bell to the sheriff's K‑9 unit and approved a slate of JFS contracts for foster-child placement and related services (providers and term 4/1/2026–3/31/2027; per-agreed fee schedules). All motions were moved, seconded and approved by recorded vote.
