Library trustees approve minutes as amended, appoint nominating committee and set next meeting date

At its remote meeting the Town of Northborough Library Board of Trustees approved several routine items. After confirming attendance, trustee Mitch Cohen moved to approve the minutes from the Feb. 10, 2026 meeting with three date corrections, the addition of the meeting time and Zoom location in the header, and a clarification naming Britney Burns as the member who had earlier abstained. Pat Fonts seconded the motion and a roll-call vote was taken; the motion passed unanimously.

Chair Michelle Rehil appointed the nominating committee for the year, naming Pat Fonts as committee chair and adding Richard Tucker and Amanda Derosha Millet as members; the committee is required to meet once and present a slate of officers at the next regularly scheduled meeting. The board set its next meeting for May 19, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. (noting that the third Tuesday avoids town election day) and agreed it will be held remotely unless otherwise announced.

Jocelyn McElhenney moved to adjourn at 7:52 p.m.; Beth Thomas seconded. A roll-call vote carried and the meeting was adjourned.
