Staff said the incumbent has performed satisfactorily and final contract terms will return to council for signature. - Council approved a new position description for a street department assistant superintendent as part of the FY2025–26 budget, intended to redistribute workload and allow more focused oversight. - The council reappointed three Parks & Recreation Advisory Board members and appointed Arturo Ruiz and Josh Brake to fill two new vacancies; the council will hold board elections at a future meeting. - A lease for Hangar F-4 at the Elko Regional Airport was approved for James Cook after staff confirmed payment of back rent and created a new lease document. - Ordinance 903 (amending Ordinance 901 by incorporating missing sections 2–5 and applying retroactively to 06/24/2025) was adopted on second reading as a housekeeping item with required public notice and no public opposition.
