Key items approved included Accounts Payable Demands totaling $2,643,480.60 for Feb. 12–20, 2026 and Payroll of $2,535,365.53 for the pay period ending Jan. 31, 2026; authorization for the County Administrator to enter into a contract with MSS Business Transformation Advisory, Inc. for up to $150,000 for strategic IT services; and authorization for the Election Services Director to sign a five-year Runbeck agreement for ballot printing and mailing services.
The Board also authorized selling a tax-deeded parcel (Assessor's Parcel No. 186-32-013) to the Wellton-Mohawk Irrigation and Drainage District for $1,000; established Vote Center sites for the July and November 2026 elections; approved a 5.7% local match commitment contingent on an ADOT Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant award for the Ferguson Lateral Multi-Purpose Pathway Project; and awarded a $204,942.96 contract to Classic Lightning Protection, Inc. for the Juvenile Justice Center lightning protection system.
Public Works amendments approved included increasing inmate labor pay under the Arizona Department of Corrections contract from $0.50 per hour to $1.50 per hour. The Board accepted a verified petition and declared the Las Barrancas No. 2 County Improvement District formed under A.R.S. §48-901 et seq., authorized the Chairman to sign the Order Establishing the District and approved creation of a new fund number. As the Improvement District's board, supervisors awarded bond counsel services for the district's sanitary sewer project to Gust Rosenfeld P.L.C. at a proposed fee of $325,000. The Board also awarded jail medical staffing contracts to Adelphi Staffing LLC and to nurse practitioner Adrian J. Estrada, MSN, FNP-C, AGACNP-BC.
