Human Services highlights foster-home openings, veterans resource fair and local outreach clinics

Staff (Speaker 8) said the volunteer income tax assistance program closed after helping more than 500 tax returns. Tracy (Speaker 4) announced rabies clinics in the Human Services parking lot on April 18 and May 16 and encouraged outreach. The board also publicized a shred-a-thon May 1 at 500 West Jefferson Street in Monroe and invited members to a foster-family ribbon-cutting and to spread word about community events.
