She said adopting CPT-code-based fees will allow the public-health division to charge a fair price and recognize revenue for services, and will support planned infant home visiting programs.
Board members asked whether Medicaid would reimburse the services; Tracy said each fee is tied to a Medicaid-reimbursable rate and the county applies a 30% administrative increase. The board moved to adopt the fees and approved them by voice vote.
Staff described the change as a revenue-recognition and service-sustainability step to support expanded outreach, particularly infant home visits and other community-based clinical work.
