Potter County accepts ADA resignation and approves three van‑driver hires

At its Feb. 19, 2026 meeting the Potter County Board accepted the resignation of Daniel Holmes, full‑time Assistant District Attorney, with an effective date of March 27, 2026.
Commissioner Paul W. Heimel moved to accept the resignation and Commissioner Nancy J. Grupp seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The board also approved three hiring requests brought by Thomas Patterson: Matthew Allen as a full‑time van driver (effective Feb. 23, 2026), Darrell Reider as a part‑time van driver (effective March 9, 2026) and Carole Troupe as a part‑time van driver (effective March 9, 2026). Each hire was moved and approved by unanimous vote.
All personnel items were listed on the meeting agenda and packet as consent items and were approved without separate discussion recorded in the minutes. The resignation notice and hire effective dates will be processed through county personnel and payroll systems.
