Dudley confirmed she bills mid‑month to mid‑month and said she had submitted invoices for work performed after her retirement. "I bill from the middle of the month to middle of the month," Dudley said when commissioners asked about the dates.
The board also approved a new work agreement describing a specific scope: assistance with Silver Peak Road grant reporting and closeout, support for the State Revolving Loan project for the Goldfield Water Treatment Plant, help on Goldfield Community Center Phase 1 and Phase 2 projects, support for the Gold Point Fire Station grant, and assistance related to the Centerra water service agreement. Commissioner Perez noted he hoped Dudley could transition responsibilities to new staff and that the board could lean on her experience as needed.
Vote and next steps: Commissioner Zakas moved to ratify the post‑retirement agreement; Commissioner Perez seconded and the motions were recorded as carried. The new contract will run through Dec. 2026 and staff will continue training and oversight of project tasks.
