Commission approves $1.07 million change order for Pioche Airport Road Phase IV

Recorder/Auditor Amy Elmer had earlier outlined county fund balances during the meeting, noting an upcoming transfer of about $315,000 from Fund 1 to Fund 129 (Special Projects) to correct a budgeting error. The board did not specify a separate funding source for the Airport Road change order during the discussion.
The board did not take further action at the meeting to amend project timelines; staff said work was moving forward and the county will continue to coordinate construction and bidding as planned.
The board adjourned the agenda item after the unanimous vote; the project will proceed under the amended contract amount.
