The board separately approved the Sheriff's quarterly report ending March 31, 2026 (motion by Supervisor Travis Suckow, seconded by Supervisor Cerwinske; roll call all ayes). Sheriff Shawver also provided department updates to the board.
No formal procurement or expenditure was approved at the meeting for the padded cell; the sheriff's cost estimate and any formal request for use of opioid funds would return to the board for action if proposed.
