Bruening Rock Products (BRP) won Divisions 2, 3 and 4 at the per-ton prices and amounts shown in the sealed bids. The board authorized the chair to sign the contracts following a motion by Supervisor Travis Suckow, seconded by Supervisor Breitbach; the motions passed on a roll-call vote with all supervisors voting aye.
Roman Lensing, the county engineer, provided department updates during the bid opening and contract-award procedure. The board recessed at 9:42 a.m. and resumed at 10:00 a.m. to conduct the bid opening; the meeting adjourned at 10:14 a.m.
The bids opened showed two vendors submitting per-ton pricing across four divisions. For transparency, the bid materials and award records are filed with the county engineer's office and the county auditor.
