The Crookston City Council voted to adopt a five‑year capital improvement plan (CIP) covering 2026–2030.
Staff told the council the CIP details projects included in the 2026 preliminary budget and lists additional projects for later years to guide future budget preparations. “Year 2026 reflects the capital improvement projects that have been presented to council and approved in a preliminary budget,” a staff member said.
A council member noted the updated spreadsheet layout — with totals across rows as well as columns — makes it easier to see year‑by‑year and project‑by‑project totals through 2030. Staff said the CIP is a moving target and a resource for department heads to plan future improvements.
The council adopted the resolution by roll call.
