Kevin, representing Pebble Lake, told the council the course tallied 25,384 total rounds in 2025 and reported strong season activity. "We had 25,384 players that came through Pebble Lake Golf Course," he said, noting guest rounds were down compared with prior years but overall play remains steady.
Pebble Lake will implement dynamic pricing this season to encourage play outside peak morning hours, Kevin said, and expects to better fill afternoons and evenings with lower weekday rates. He also described a donated automated range‑ball machine "that costs just under $10,000," which he said will extend range hours, allow debit‑card or token purchases and reduce staff time handling buckets.
Why it matters: Pebble Lake is a municipal amenity that generates revenue and serves recreational needs. The rate changes are modest and aim to preserve access while supporting clubhouse and course operations.
Council members asked about how rounds are counted (9‑hole vs. 18‑hole rounds and the tracking of unique players); Kevin said the figure is total rounds (9‑ and 18‑hole rounds combined) and that guest rounds are a subset of that total. The resolution to adopt the 2026 rates was moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
