Council members expressed enthusiasm for a low-cost, high-value addition that could make Isanti a destination for skaters while noting competing park priorities such as pickleball courts. The council directed staff to explore QR/donation tools and set up a maintenance fund or accounting approach to accept and track donations. The motion to accept the donation and authorize staff to implement the arrangement carried 4-0.
