Superintendent Dr. Burns recommended approval of the Hidden Lakes and Pine Landing mitigation agreements; the board moved and passed each by voice vote. For School Site S1, district staff member Mr. Steger summarized minor edits to the agreement and confirmed the donor’s fee-simple parcel acreage was included in the document (recorded in the draft as 30.12 acres). "We had to make a few little minor changes to it…on the first page, you added in the total acreage…" Mr. Steger said (Mister Steger).
The chair called for questions; one board member asked where the acreage appears in the document and staff pointed to the first page. Seeing no further discussion, the board voted to accept the donation and the motion carried.
What happens next: The donation will be processed according to the agreement terms presented to the board; staff may finalize signatures and record the deed per standard district procedure.
