Staff said the county director typically implements naming requests once a resolution is received, taking approximately 16 to 90 days to update records and notify the post office and other agencies.
Members described the change as largely housekeeping that could prevent future emergency-response confusion and delivery problems; one member noted that residents had reported difficulty locating addresses. The committee moved the ordinance forward and noted the item would go to the next meeting (described in the meeting as 'Bowman').
