Participants at the PHEP discussion included Clerk Charlie Saylor, Sherlie Hains, Jennifer Crawford, Human Resources Director Tasha Powell and Mega McDonald. They reviewed how the account reached a negative balance and discussed possible ways to correct it; no funding reallocation or formal remedy was adopted at the meeting.
County staff indicated follow-up work will be necessary to identify specific corrective actions and to report back to the commissioners.
