Clerk and Recorder Charlie Saylor presented the check register and reported the total paid. The board accepted the register, which showed the largest single fund allocations to the general fund ($40,259.13), the nursing home ($19,486.95) and the ambulance fund ($17,998.68). Other funds listed included road, transit, airport, library and public-safety accounts.
Saylor told the board the claims had been processed and paid as submitted. The board approved the posted agenda at 9:00 a.m. before taking the claims item; a vote count was not recorded in the minutes beyond “motion carried.”
The commissioners recessed for lunch at noon and reconvened at 1:00 p.m. The next regular meeting was scheduled for Feb. 18, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
