Mike Beeneck of LCC Telecom Services said Vertical Bridge proposes a 250‑foot self‑support lattice tower topped by a 5‑foot lightning rod (total height 255 feet) sited within a 100‑by‑100 foot lease area (fenced 75‑by‑75). The package includes a 30‑foot access and utility easement from Peanut Road, with 18 feet allocated for power and fiber and a 12‑foot access drive. The tower will initially serve T‑Mobile and will be available for future colocation.
Beeneck said the project had been reviewed by the planning commission and presented at a neighborhood meeting, where one attendee (the property owner’s daughter) raised questions. No others registered opposition at the hearing. After a brief board exchange and a motion to approve, commissioners voted to grant the requested approval.
County staff indicated there is a documented coverage need in the area; no conditions beyond standard permitting and easement requirements were recorded in the public hearing discussion.
