Council approves three alcohol licenses for neighborhood businesses

The approved licenses were: a Class E (beer and wine by the package) license for Toby Broxton at Baby Cakes (1820 Montgomery Street); a Class C (liquor, beer and wine by the drink) license with Sunday sales for Anthony Debronisi at LaVetta (15 West Broughton Street); and a combination Class C and Class E license with Sunday sales for James Coyle at Tempo by Hilton Savannah (220 East Bay Street). Alderman Dietrich Leggett moved the approvals; council approved each item by voice vote.
No public opposition was recorded in the hearing; council followed standard procedure by closing the public hearing and voting on the corresponding agenda items.
