At the finance-and-facilities committee report, board member Todd summarized two items the committee examined: a lease-purchase plan to build outdoor tennis courts with an estimated cost of $777,000 and an updated 2026 general-fund budget.
Todd said the tennis-court cost would be spread over roughly a 10-year period through a dedicated tax levy, a structure he said would manage fiscal impact while creating long-term community benefit. "The cost would be spread over about 10 years through a dedicated tax levy," Todd stated during his report.
On the budget, the committee presented a revised projection for 2026 showing $46,700,000 in revenue and $46,500,000 in expenditures and a projected unassigned fund balance of 6.53 percent. Todd said the district expects enrollment growth of about 1 percent.
The report was informational; the board did not take a formal vote on the court proposal at the meeting and no final financing decision was recorded in the transcript.
