City manager: Congresswoman has nominated $1.5M for Tustin mobile command post replacement

Tustin’s city manager told the council on April 7 that Congresswoman Kim’s office had selected the city’s mobile command post replacement project and will submit the $1,500,000 nomination to the House Appropriations Committee for consideration.
"Congresswoman Kim has chosen our project, the city mobile command post replacement, totaling 1,500,000.0, to put forward to Appropriations Committee for inclusion in the Appropriations package," the city manager said, and added that the project must still advance through further congressional and committee steps before funding is secured.
Staff said they will continue to track the project through the federal appropriations process and provide council updates on its status.
