Ken Henderson was elected chair of the Tustin Community Services Commission after commissioners moved and seconded his nomination and approved it by voice vote.
Director Clann explained the commission’s annual reorganization procedure and handed the gavel to Deputy Director Buescher to facilitate nominations. A commissioner nominated Henderson for chair; another commissioner seconded the nomination. The motion carried on an affirmative voice vote, and Henderson resumed the meeting as chair.
Chair Henderson then opened nominations for chair pro tem. Commissioner Nakamoto was nominated and seconded and was approved unanimously. The commission made both selections without recorded roll-call tallies.
No public testimony was offered on the reorganization and commissioners immediately continued with the published agenda.
