• PARS supplementary retirement plan: The board approved a Public Agency Retirement Services (PARS) supplementary retirement plan for eligible employees and authorized staff to proceed with enrollment and fiscal projections. Vote recorded in meeting as approved by the board.
• Board policy actions: Trustees adopted updated policies (including the district's immigration‑response policy and a policy on appropriate event interactions) and rescinded older policies cited on the agenda (01/2001 and 5145.13). Staff said the policy updates align district practice with current state law. Vote: motions to adopt and to rescind passed during the meeting.
