Superintendent Jordan Reeves told the Marysville Joint Unified School District board on April 14 that Yuba County is coordinating a grant-funded Safe Routes to School project on Linda Avenue and Dunning Avenue to improve pedestrian and bicycle safety around Linda Elementary.
Reeves said the project is currently in the design stage and will include curbs, gutters, sidewalks, ADA ramps, bike lanes and striping similar to previous work around Cedar Lane. He said the district will share timelines and additional details with the board and the public once they are available.
The announcement was made as part of the superintendent’s brief updates; no formal board action on the project was recorded at the meeting.
