Manessa City Schools board opens March 10 meeting and moves into closed session

The Manessa City Schools Board of Trustees convened its first regular meeting of March on March 10, 2025. The clerk called the roll, confirmed which trustees were present or absent and explained how the board would handle public comment on items related to a forthcoming closed session.

The clerk said public comment regarding closed-session items would be taken before the board entered closed session and that "any public comments received via email or voice mail following the posting of the board agenda and prior to noon the day of the board meeting will not be read aloud, but have been transcribed and printed with copies provided to each board member and the public." The clerk then asked whether anyone wished to speak on closed-session items; hearing none, the board convened into closed session.
