The board also approved school improvement plans for Washington School, Reagan Middle School, Dixon High School and Dempsey Therapeutic Day School after presentations and questions from board members. The handbook for Dempsey Therapeutic Day School was likewise approved.
Motions originating from board members were handled in sequence; most approvals were procedural and carried unanimously. The board did not record dissenting votes on any of the items covered under this portion of the agenda.
