Telesis Academy of Science and Math presented student leaders who described debate topics, clubs and events; principal Jacob Chung highlighted instructional and character programs and introduced ASB student leaders who described activities ranging from Winter Olympics to debate tournaments. The Rowland High School dance team was recognized for bringing home multiple trophies and top honors. Nogales High School was acknowledged for earning both the AP Honor Roll Silver and the AP Access Award in recognition of expanding access to AP courses while maintaining strong exam performance.
The Walnut Valley Rotary Club was recognized for long-standing partnership with the district and for coordinating an annual holiday-basket program that provides food support for approximately 175 families; the meeting included a short news feature showing students and dozens of volunteers preparing baskets. Trustees praised volunteers, staff and teachers across the district for supporting student programs and extracurricular opportunities.
These recognitions emphasized student achievement, community partnership and district programs that support college and career readiness.
