Superintendent Pramili outlines district restructuring and six goals for 2526 school year

Superintendent Pramili updated the Jackson Township Board of Education on the district'9s transition to a restructured model for the 2526 school year, telling the board the district now operates three newly configured schools: a consolidated high school, a middle school and a 5—6 school created from the former Goetz building.
"We basically have 3 new schools when you look at it," Pramili said, and credited staff and transportation for smoothing the start of the year after changes to bus routes and the unexpected closure of Cedar Swamp Road. She said the last trailers on district property have been removed and sites are being remediated ahead of a final township inspection.
Pramili outlined six district goals: (1) building a strong climate and sense of belonging through surveys and culture work; (2) strengthening academics with clear standards and supports; (3) increasing rigor and growth through scaffolded instruction and enrichment; (4) continuing safety and threat-assessment protocols; (5) addressing finance, facilities and transportation needs including exploring a debt-service referendum and pursuing grants; and (6) transitioning homeschool and HR services and launching a new district website, expected in late October.
On extracurriculars and student life, Pramili highlighted early-season athletic and arts successes and said the restructuring allowed the district to move students and staff out of outdated trailers while preserving programs previously at risk. "We've been able to add some small additional things too," she said, citing new intramural and Esports offerings.
The superintendent said the administration will administer a climate survey in October to inform midyear and end-of-year reviews and asked the board for input on draft board goals to guide the year.
The board did not take a separate vote on the goals at the meeting; the document was presented in draft form for board review and future action.
