Near the end of the March 10 meeting, the board moved to enter closed session to discuss personnel and pending litigation matters. The motion was moved by Bill and seconded by Dr. Hall. During roll call all members present voted in the affirmative and the chair announced the motion carried. The board estimated the closed session would last about 45 minutes and said it would not take action afterwards.
Motion: "To go into closed session for the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees and litigation when an action affecting or on behalf of the particular public body has been filed and is pending before a court or administrative tribunal." Moved by Bill; seconded by Dr. Hall. Roll-call votes were recorded as affirmative and the motion carried.
The board then recessed into closed session.
