White Pine County tourism board elects officers, confirms six-month meeting schedule

The White Pine County Tourism and Recreation Board on Feb. 25 elected Terrill Trask as chair, Jason Bath as vice chair and Liz Woolsey as secretary/treasurer, and approved meeting dates through August. The appointments and schedule were approved unanimously.
The White Pine County Tourism and Recreation Board elected its officer slate and approved a meeting calendar for the coming six months at its Feb. 25 regular meeting.
Chair Terrill Trask was re-elected chair; Member Jason Bath was elected vice chair and Member Liz Woolsey was elected secretary/treasurer. The board approved the slate unanimously.
The board also adopted a schedule of regular meetings: March 25; April 29 (moved from April 22 because of the Rural Roundup); May 27; June 24; July 22; and Aug. 26. The calendar passed without objection.
The board confirmed the appointment of Jason Bath as liaison to the Golf Course Advisory Board, another unanimous action. Members said the liaison role will help coordinate golf-course-related items between advisory committees and the tourism board.
The actions leave the board with defined leadership and a regular meeting cadence ahead of the spring and summer visitor seasons. The next regular meeting is scheduled for March 25.
