TL Meyer, Livestock Systems Extension Educator, asked the board to appoint Rebecca Mundorf as Hooker County's Extension Board member. Crisp moved and Emerson seconded the appointment; the motion carried by roll call, three ayes.
On road work, Michael Baum notified the board by text that approximately ten miles of roads remain to be crack-sealed, that Tim Licking will work on the semi after the calving season, and that Baum is exploring a used scraper similar to Hooker County's. The board noted that an Armor Coat notice to bidders ran in the Hooker County Tribune for three weeks and that bids will be opened at the April 9, 2026 meeting.
Crystal Hardy presented the treasurer's report, which the board approved by motion and roll call. Sheriff Todd Yost provided a sheriff's report. The board reviewed a library budget worksheet; no vote on the library budget was recorded.
