The Pasadena Independent School District Board of Trustees approved its consent agenda in a special session Wednesday, confirming multiple administrative appointments and routine items.
Board President Casey Phelan opened the meeting and the board voted to approve agenda items A through G. Under the administrative personnel item trustees announced and recognized appointments that included Patricia Reyes for licensed specialist in school psychology (special education), Patricia Rocha for counselor at Parkview Intermediate, Grazien Gatica for licensed school specialist in school psychology (special education), Bernadette Booker for instructional specialist (K–2 curriculum and instruction), Abel Diaz for assistant principal at Young Elementary, Robert Moe for student information systems coordinator in technology services, Christina Zapata for assistant principal at San Jacinto Intermediate, and Tamika Alfred Stevens for chief financial officer for Pasadena ISD.
Paola Gonzales introduced several of the appointees and invited family members to the meeting. President Casey Phelan said, “We are thrilled to have you,” welcoming new administrative staff.
These appointments were announced and approved as part of the board’s consent/administrative personnel item; no separate roll-call vote for each hire was taken during the meeting.
