Linden council adopts several traffic ordinances adding snow-removal parking bans and handicap spots

Clerk-read ordinance 70-8 amends temporary parking prohibitions for snowplowing and removal, adding Bachelor Avenue and West Blankie Street to the list of affected streets, and was adopted after the council confirmed it had been properly published and received no written communications. Ordinance 70-9 amended the code to prohibit parking on Clark Street (both sides) between St. George's Avenue and a point 100 feet south; the council closed the hearing and adopted the ordinance. Ordinance 70-10 added three designated on-street handicap parking spots (816 E. Henry St., 916 W. Henry St., 1515 Winans Ave.) and was also adopted after no public comment.
Council members confirmed publication and posted notices for each ordinance before moving to close the hearings and adopt. The actions were presented as routine council business and were adopted by roll call.
