Commissioners proclaim Pennsylvania 4‑H Week; local 4‑H members describe skills and competitions

Kelsey (S6) introduced local club officers and praised the county’s active 4‑H clubs, saying the members represent Greene County at fairs and competitions. A 4‑H member (S7) described long participation in the program and credited 4‑H with providing life and career skills: "The program has given me life skills that I'll use later on in the future when I start off my career with the equine industry, and I'm forever grateful for it," the member said.
The young members noted travel and competition experience, including national judging events and state fairs. County officials thanked the participants and encouraged public recognition of 4‑H activities in the community.
The proclamation and youth remarks were followed by routine agenda business.
